The South Carolina Wildlife Federation has partnered with Hilton Head Author, Elizabeth Belenchia to bring awareness to the challenges of loggerhead turtles as they return to coastal beaches to nest. Released in 2017, “My Walk to the Water” highlights the challenges the turtles face and the need to “put the beaches to sleep” to help the adult turtles and their hatchlings.
