Plishing Challenge Finale: Archers Lake Litter Sweep

Day of the Week: Saturday

Event Date: August 29, 2026

Time: 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM

Location: Archer's Lake

Please join us for another impactful litter sweep at Archer’s Lake in Irmo, SC, on Saturday, August 29th from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. We have picked up over 10,000 items of trash over the last 5 years in this area and we look to continue the effective clean-up efforts! We are celebrating the conclusion of the Plishing Challenge! Join us if you’ve been a part of the challenge or if you’re simply someone who wants to help keep South Carolina’s waterways clean. No previous participation in the challenge is required.

Together, we’ll remove litter from Archers Lake and the surrounding area, helping protect fish and wildlife habitat while preserving a special outdoor space for the community.

Gloves and trash bags will be available while supplies last. We recommend wearing weather-appropriate clothing, closed-toe shoes, and bringing water, sunscreen, and work gloves if you have them. You’re also welcome to bring your fishing gear and enjoy Archers Lake before or after the cleanup.

Every piece of litter removed makes a difference. Join us as we celebrate another successful Plishing Challenge by giving back to the waters that bring us together!

Please sign up by using the link below so we can send pertinent information about the day!
