The SCWF Junior Naturalist Program teaches children about nature and the importance of conservation. Through fun, hands-on learning, children begin to appreciate nature, understand basic ecological concepts, become aware of their impact on the environment, and take action in their community.  Kids can start with any event, and after attending four, they will become a "Certified Junior Naturalist."

Junior Naturalist events are taught by members of the Midlands Master Naturalist Association. Topics and activities vary depending on the season. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Stay tuned for upcoming events!

Each event is $10.00 per child, $20.00 family maximum (more than 2 children from same family are free).  Fees will be due at the time of the hike (cash or check made out to SCWF).
