AFCO's WAIT site includes a beautiful butterfly garden that greets associates and visitors as they enter the facility.  The garden also includes a Carolina Fence Garden and a fish pond.  Three chimney swift towers have been erected around the site.  In addition to their wildlife projects, AFCO maintains a general recycling program and is proud to have ZERO waste going to a landfill. 

AFCO's goals for 2011 are: 

1. Maintain the butterfly garden (Boy Scouts)
2. Maintain “0” Land fill Waste
3. Wildlife Art Contest for Earth day
4. Reduce CO2 Emissions
5. Vegetable Garden
6. Creating an area for Wildlife Information
