Take flight with our feathered friends during Wild Migratory Bird Day. SCWF, Riverbanks and other participating community partners have planned an exciting day filled with a variety of avian adventures—all designed to create a better world for birds.

Guests will enjoy guided bird walks, animal enrichment, hands-on fun and activities from crafts and games to story time and a puppet show.

Travel around the Zoo to collect stamps to complete your World Migratory Bird Day Event Passport and be entered to win exciting prize packages!

Guests will have the opportunity to view a special screening of "Plastic Paradise" in our Discovery Theater and hear from special guest speaker— host of SCETV’s Nature Scene, Rudy Mancke.

All World Migratory Bird Day activities will take place from 9am-3pm and are free with your Riverbanks’ membership or paid park admission.
