SCWF Montana Fly-Fishing Experience

  • Pray Montana United States (map)

Join SCWF in Montana for a fly-fishing trip this September 10-13. SCWF's Director of Education BeBe Dalton Harrison (fishing fanatic) will be leading this small group adventure in Pray, Montana!

We are excited to offer a very special look into a different part of the US and highlight some incredible habitats that we don’t see in South Carolina. You will have the opportunity to explore this beautiful location and fly fish for a variety of species including the gorgeous cutthroat trout. There are only 8 spots available for this curated adventure and they will go quickly.

Per person cost for this all-inclusive trip is $3,000, excluding airfare to Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN), credit card processing fees if applicable, and fishing license.

A 50% deposit of $1,500 per person is due by March 30, 2024; the balance of $1,500 per person will be due by July 30, 2024. If needed, the deposit can be made no later than April 15.

Participants must be at least age 25.

Here are the details:

Montana hosts a stunning array of mountains, rivers, streams, and wilderness that includes Yellowstone National Park. It is famous not only for top-notch fly-fishing experiences, but for the opportunity to potentially see grizzly bears, elk, moose, whooping crane, meadowlark, and the beautiful black and white magpie among other species.

We will be staying at Chico Hot Springs Resort which is nestled in Paradise Valley and surrounded by picturesque mountains of the Absaroka range. It is located near the Yellowstone River and is a short, scenic drive to Yellowstone National Park. The resort boasts two open-air natural mineral hot springs pools, amazing food with a western flair, and outdoor adventure opportunities galore.

The iconic Chico Hot Springs Resort was established in 1900.
