Due to the demand for our Palmetto Outdoors Women Retreat, we are adding (+) new one-day workshops across the state. POWR+ events are open to all women whether you have attended the retreat or have yet to do so.

Have you tried skeet shooting and enjoyed it? Are you ready to try that skill on a field?  South Carolina Wildlife Partnership (SCWP) has extended an invitation to our POWR+ participants for a dove shoot. SCWP works with landowners who spend time and money managing their lands for wildlife and hunting and they are offering a wonderful location for a dove shoot. This is a wonderful “first time” experience for new hunters but also loads of fun for seasoned hunters. It is a great way to connect with other women who are interested in shooting sports and sourcing their own food. SCWP staff will teach you about the management, safety, and the doves you will harvest. And SCDNR will be on hand to help with safety and firearms, too.

This event will be held in Orangeburg.

Bring some snacks and a water bottle.

Location: This event will be held in Orangeburg. Once you register, you will receive an email with more details.

Cost: The cost is $100 per woman and limited to the first 8 women that register.

SCWF reserves the right to cancel any event, due to unforeseen circumstances, extreme weather, low registration, or pandemic-related guidance from local/state officials. Any cancellation by SCWF will result in a full refund for all registrants.

Please note that you must have a current hunting license to participate in this event. If you do not have one, you can purchase one through the SC Department of Natural Resources here.
